Rants and raves :)

I’ve recently rediscovered my love for the band The White Stripes, in particular, their absolutely mindblowingly sublime cover version of Dusty Springfield’s, I just don’t know what to do with myself. For those that have come in late, I’ve included the vid below. It’s directed by Sofia Coppola and features Kate Moss looking great before all the drug issues…or maybe it was during? Who knows but she delivers a great turn in the video. The song itself is amazing though and deserves a few listens…will definitely be adding this one to my must buy list.

And on a sidenote, when the feck will the PSN store be back online??? It’s great that the network is back up and everyone’s fragging each other all over Black Ops, for those that haven’t lost interest in the whole COD franchise but to the rest of us, and by rest of us I mean me, that don’t go for that and just wanna hook up their psp with some new games, this is a disaster of unmitigated proportions!! (Have always wanted to use that phrase!) Supposedly by the end of this month 😦 All that has to happen now is the launch of the e-Shop for the Nintendo 3DS will be delayed as well and then I’ll go completely postal!! You heard it here it first anyways 🙂

Don’t say it don’t look amazing!!!

The PSP Go is dead, long live the PSP Go!

Well…after a few many rumours, Sony has confirmed the inevitable…the PSP Go will be put to bed by Sony. The digital distribution model just hasn’t worked out for them even though other companies have managed to pull it off quite successfully. So after only 2 years, the Go is been discontinued to focus on the upcoming NGP or PSP2 as the kids are calling it. Nothing will be changing for the PSP 3000 however so fans of the UMD model can breathe a sigh of relief for now anyways. The Go has faced a price drop lately which made it more attractive to buyers but people still sitting on the fence over their decision to buy one would just be better off seeing just how cheap they get. So once store stock is sold, that’s it, they’re gone forever! Seems like only yesterday it launched…
