Crazy Melbourne weather and Tokyo NoNo Shopping Mall

Crazy winter weather in Melbourne today, thank God I was indoors at the Museum. The pic below probably doesn’t do it justice but it was pelting!!

Rainy museum day

Also for anyone who’s been to Japan and seen any of their shopping malls which contain tiny but packed stores like Rox Shopping Centre in Asakusa and is feeling homesick can pay a visit to the Tokyo NoNo Shopping Mall found in the Bourke St. Mall between the Australian Diamond Company and the downstairs McDonald’s. It is quite similar to the ones found in Japan although it is quite small but they do have a great range of clothes, shoes, knick knacks and just quirky Japanese things that you can’t find anywhere else. The stores that are there seem to be expanding all the time and adding new stock and there’s always people in there so if this is the kind of stuff you’ve been missing, head there today πŸ™‚
